Olfactory Pyramid:

• Top Notes (Opening): Angelica, Grapefruit, Cedar, Basil, and Ginger.
• Heart Notes (Middle): Water Lily, Mimosa, Jasmine Sambac, Orris Root (Iris Root), Violet Leaves, Geranium, and Rose.
• Base Notes (Dry-down): Rain Notes, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Cashmere Wood, Patchouli, Benzoin, and Tonka Bean.

Giant lotus pads separate to make way for buds that pierce the surface of the jade-green pond. They raise their faces to the sun, their delicate fragrance floating around them. In the shadow of the blossoms, tiny dragonfly nymphs also emerge from the shallow water. They unfurl their fragile wings and shyly take flight, ready to explore the world beyond the water.

The glistening pools of nearby golden rice fields call to the dragonflies. Their long, trembling bodies flutter across the cascading terraces to rest on swaying stalks, shimmering with sunlight caught by droplets on their iridescent wings.

Like the lotus flower spreading its petals, the newly redesigned Zoologist Dragonfly opens with a beautiful burst of aquatic florals. Hints of cedar, powdery iris, and mimosa radiate from within a leafy green canopy, under the intimate aroma of an impending summer shower. Dragonfly embodies the richness and romance of Impressionism, on a canvas of florals beneath an aqueous veil.

Our Opinion (What We Think):

Reborn in 2021, Dragonfly still boasts a beautifully enchanting bouquet of soft floral petals floating over fresh water, but now the distinctive notes of wild green herbs and a touch of cedar and orris powder add an eye-catching touch to this characteristic yet wearable floral.
